One of the staple shows of this area is the Portland Transmission Cruise. It’s early in the year and is one of the shows that kicks off the season. The cruise is usually very large and takes over the streets around the Portland Transmission warehouse in inner southeast Portland. However, this year was the threat (and fulfillment) of rain which severely cut down attendance. It was still a fun event and there was all types of vehicles out for the day.
Since I’ve been focusing on the Willys lately, I was mainly interested in the variety of trucks that were in attendance. I’ve been meaning to post for some time but with my son’s musical production of Tom Sawyer, a nieces wedding, and trying to get out to mow between rain showers among other things, I’ve been too busy to sit down at the computer.
In any case, there were some cool vehicles out that day so here’s a sampling of what was there.
